Two Complementary States

AM1ON recognises two states of verified energy value. Each serves a distinct economic function while maintaining the same nominal equivalence.

Liquid Value

Production Value

Verified energy that has been produced or imported, measured in kilowatt-hours and made available for economic circulation. Production Value provides a basis for contractual settlement and liquidity for participating energy producers.

1 kWh produced = 1 AM1ON
Store of Value

Savings Value

Verified energy savings, known as Negawatts, resulting from measurable efficiency gains and represented as an auditable economic value. Savings Value preserves the value associated with verified avoided consumption over time.

1 kWh saved = 1 AM1ON

Production Value in Detail

Verified physical energy entering the ecosystem for immediate economic circulation.

Immediate Liquidity

Production Value can provide participating producers with liquidity through contractual settlement with the State.

Physical Representation

Each unit corresponds to a measured quantity of physical energy in kilowatt-hours and can be traced to its verified source.

Peer-to-Peer Contracts

Participating producers enter into direct contractual relationships with the State. The contractual price is established at the beginning of the agreement and remains fixed for its agreed duration.

Savings Value in Detail

Verified energy savings represented as an auditable economic value.

Negawatts

Verified efficiency gains create measurable energy savings. These savings can be recorded as Negawatts and represented as a verifiable economic value.

Long-Term Accumulation

Savings Value can accumulate over time as additional verified energy savings are recorded. Its value is derived from verified savings rather than speculative market activity.

Financial Applications

Accumulated Savings Value may support complementary financial applications within the AM1ON framework, subject to the applicable legal and regulatory framework.

Designed for Integration

Both states of value are designed to operate alongside existing financial, monetary and regulatory systems while preserving monetary sovereignty.

The framework is designed to accommodate different sovereign implementations and regulatory approaches without requiring the replacement of existing monetary systems.

The protocol stays flexible enough to fit different sovereign implementations and regulatory approaches.
