The Energy Standard where verified physical energy underpins monetary value.
AM1ON establishes an Energy Standard through which sovereign monetary systems can anchor issuance to verified physical energy production and savings rather than speculative market valuation.
AM1ON establishes absolute nominal parity between verified energy and monetary value.
Each AM1ON unit corresponds to one verified kilowatt-hour of energy. The corresponding monetary value is established at absolute nominal parity with the local currency.
Verified energy production and savings are recorded and settled through contractual relationships between participating energy companies and the State. The applicable monetary authority determines the conditions under which verified energy may support monetary issuance within the framework. The price of energy is established in the contractual relationship and remains fixed for the agreed duration of the contract. Market trading does not determine the contractual value of the verified energy.
AM1ON recognises two complementary states of verified energy value: Production Value and Savings Value.
Production Value represents verified physical energy that has been produced or imported and made available for economic circulation. It is measured in kilowatt-hours and can provide liquidity to participating energy producers.
Savings Value represents verified energy that has not been consumed as a result of measurable efficiency gains. These verified savings, commonly described as Negawatts, preserve the economic value of avoided energy consumption over time.
